Fall 2012 Edwin W. Zoller Gallery

The Edwin W. Zoller Gallery is the venue of exciting exhibitions by the School of Visual Arts.  The September schedule opens with an exhibition of recent films by Brent Green, titled I feel the same way about cops I feel about criminals- if either one is in my house there's something wrong.  Brent is a self-taught animated filmmaker, visual artist, and storyteller working in the Appalachian hills of rural Pennsylvania. Green’s winding narratives engage multiple media, from a feature film, to a hacked LCD and steel animation machine, to his newest feature film endeavors in live action photography collage. Green’s films have screened, often with live musical accompaniment, at venues such as Museum of Modern Art, The J. Paul Getty Museum, The Walker Art Center, the Hammer Museum, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts, The Wexner Center for the Arts, The Indianapolis Museum of Art, The Rotterdam Film Festival, the Sundance Film Festival, and even extending to rooftops, warehouses, and galleries across the globe.
