The Bachelor of Fine Arts degree provides preparation in art that enables the graduate to pursue a professional career through immediate involvement in personal creative work and through graduate study. Students in the B.F.A. have the opportunity to pursue a concentration in one of the following areas of studio art: ceramics, drawing and painting, new media, photography, printmaking, or sculpture. Entry into the B.F.A. degree program is determined by a review of students' placement portfolios by School of Visual Arts faculty.
