Biography

Leanna Rosas is an artist, designer, and educator whose creative work is fueled by a deep interest in irony, intent, the psychology of manipulation, and the questioning of power dynamics. Her most recent work is in the areas of experimental animation and music composition/synthesis, which is often in collaborative audio and visual new-media environments. Much of this work seeks to explore means in which one identifies with the continually evolving conditions of a technology-driven culture. She is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Art and Digital Arts & Media Design in the School of Visual Arts at Penn State University.
