Calibrating Color

Shannon Goff, assistant professor of sculpture and ceramics, is currently participating in a group exhibition Calibrating Color: The Visible Spectrum and the Ceramic Surface, on display through May 8 at the Cohen Gallery of Alfred University.

With each artist focused on a particular hue, this exhibition celebrates ceramics as a site for the phenomena of color. Curated from their book, Glaze: The Ultimate Ceramic Artist's Guide to Glaze and Color, by Brian J. Taylor and Kate Doody. Exhibiting artists include: Adam Field, Bobby Silverman, Daniel Bare, David Hicks, Giselle Hicks, Joe Pintz, Katie Parker, Guy M. Davis, Kristin Kieffer, Linda Lopez, Linda Swanson, Marc Digeros, Matt Wedel, Rain Harris, Rebecca Chappell, Sam Chung, Shannon Goff, Sunshine Cobb, and Thaddeus.
